happy international women's day....
yeah, a day late, what of it? in a lunar, feminine measurement of time i might be a week early!
to my birth mother, soulmothers, sisters of blood and spirit, wonderful women all,
i toast you with champagne flute in one hand, teacup in the other (ok, and a beer between my knees, chocolate in back pocket and hair full of herbs, seems only fitting)!
i send armfuls of love, gratitude and manic laughter to you, women who have amazed me with your strength and courage, nurtured me with your love and wisdom, inspired me by your own actions, and made me laugh til my sides hurt. your presence has been vital to my life, my growth, and will never go unappreciated.
hooray for my fine women!!! (and yes, miss s and miss l, hurrah too!)
